Even though I have always lived in the North, I have never grown tired of the beauty, peace and serenity of the wilderness that is so abundant in this area.  I love to observe and try to capture the everyday life of our region's natural world in my paintings.

I frequently tend to become quite nostalgic in my work, creating scenes that take me back to a time where things were simple and less stressful.  Whenever possible, I will take a break from the rigors of everyday life, and go for a ride on my Harley.  My favorite trip thus far has been the one to Alaska, as there is infinite inspiration along that route and I never tire of the picturesque landscape.
